Ocean views from almost every room
Sandy Flats is a brand-new home, built in 2022 and raised for the views. It sits three houses from open water, so you see the ocean from the living room, the kitchen and the front balcony, where Adirondack gliders face the sunrise.
The large living room and open kitchen are made for a group: two big sofas, a dining table, and a kitchen stocked with everything from good cookware to spices. All three bedrooms have king beds, quality mattresses, a TV and a full private bathroom. There's also a half bath for guests and a sofa bed in the living room.
Downstairs: pool, lounge and dock
Under the house is a shaded lounge with two daybeds and a table for six, right beside the 10×20 elevated heated pool, which has room to sit along its edge. Covered parking is under the home, with room for a boat trailer.
On the water
The 60-foot dock has whips to keep your boat off the pilings, a lighted fish-cleaning station, and a step-down for easy access to the water. A bait pen, bait freezer, cooler, life jackets, beach chairs, kayaks, paddle boards and a couple of fishing poles are all yours to use.
- Open water is about a minute from the dock.
- Paddle and snorkel the flats, or run out to the patch reefs.
- Vaca Cut and the bay side are 10 minutes by boat to the left.
- The Seven Mile Bridge is 20 minutes to the right.
One boat per rental can tie up at the dock. The approach is shallow, so ask us for the markers if your boat drafts deep.

Seven-night minimum, required by the City of Marathon. Cleaning $350, refundable deposit $500 ($1,000 for holidays and special events), tax 12.5%. Check-in after 3 pm, check-out by 9 am. Stays run Sunday to Sunday from January to mid-August; from mid-August to mid-December any seven-night window works.
